Bio
Marc Jordan is in his second year as the Assistant Athletic Communications Director. Jordan returns to the Spartans after serving a year at Saint Leo University as the Manager of Athletic Communications.
While at Saint Leo, Jordan was responsible for the media efforts of the Lions' volleyball, women's basketball, softball and tennis programs while assisting in other areas of the department. The UT graduate hosted multiple tournaments, including the Sunshine State Conference Tennis Championship while also serving as the Master of Ceremonies for the Saint Leo Green and Gold Awards. Jordan also managed the student employment budgeting and scheduling for the Green and Gold.
Prior to his work with the Lions, Jordan was the Athletic Communications Assistant for two years at Tampa after graduating in 2012. In his second year as an intern, Jordan aided in the management of two NCAA regional events for baseball and volleyball while aiding the development of the student assistants.
In his first year as the Athletic Communications Assistant, Jordan aided in the management of all of the UT athletic teams including primary duties for volleyball and baseball. While working with the program, Jordan aided in the media efforts for the school’s first volleyball National Player of the Year and the sixth baseball NCAA National Championship.
Jordan also worked for the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey club as the community relations intern. He was instrumental in assisting the Lightning Foundation community efforts and events while aiding the transition to online donation requests.
The Manchester, N.H., native earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Tampa and completed his MBA in Sport Business from Sunshine State Conference foe Saint Leo University. During his time at Tampa, Jordan was a four year student assistant while also serving the Office of Residence Life where he assisted in program efforts and management of the university housing initiatives as the Head Resident of Special Projects.
He currently resides in Tampa.
