Women’s Golfers Place at Lady Moc Classic
LAKELAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's golf team was 16th at the Lady Moc Classic, which was hosted by Florida Southern College at The Club at Eaglebrooke.
The Spartans finished at 1,075 in three rounds of play, coming in at +211. Tampa's top round was a 349 in Monday's second go-around. Sunshine State Conference opponent Nova Southeastern University took top honors with an 880 (+16).
Fellow SSC opponents Lynn, Rollins, Barry, Florida Tech, Florida Southern and Saint Leo also competed among the 17-team field.
Kendra Bishop shot a 244 to finish 51st overall. Also competing for UT were Fatin Amin (254), Brittany Bradshaw (259) and Kelsey Kennedy (318).
Tampa returns to the links on March 4-5 at the Warner Invite. The event will be played at Sun and Lake Country Club in Sebring, Fla.
