Boland Named USILA SSDM of the Year as USILA Releases All-Americans
LOUISVILLE, KY. - The USILA has released the 2026 USILA Division II All-American Teams and Award Winners. Harry Boland was named as the SSDM Player of the Year while Tampa had nine players earn All-American recognition.
Boland, a junior, becomes the first player in program history to be named as the Short Stick Defensive Midfielder of the Year. In addition, he is a USILA First Team All-American selection. Tampa had three additional players earn first team status in Aaron Cho, Gordy Gombold, and Conley Stone. This is the second consecutive season that Gombold has earned first team accolades.
Tommy Ortega was the only Spartan to earn second team honors while Jake Demert was the only to be named third team. Jackson Bashaw, Rex Kesselring, and Westin Schmidt were all named as honorable mention.
