Bio
Graduate Assistant Volunteer Coach for the University of Tampa Track and Cross Country programs. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health with a concentration in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tampa, where she is currently pursuing her Master’s in Exercise and Nutrition Science.
As a former student-athlete for the Spartans, Lily competed in track for two years, specializing in the 800 meters. She remains among the program’s all-time top five indoor record holders in the 600 meters.
In addition to coaching, Lily is actively involved in a variety of research projects within the Exercise and Nutrition Science program. Her research interests span across exercise physiology, recovery, and human performance, with ongoing and completed studies including: “Effects of Sleep on Muscular Adaptations,” “The Effect of Amino Acid versus Placebo on Indirect Markers of Musculotendinous Unit Recovery Following Eccentric Plantar Flexor Exercise,” “Reliability of Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DXA) for Assessing Body Composition,” “Reliability and Validity of CONNEQT Pulse in Comparison to SphygmoCor,”  and “Reliability of Portable Versus Conventional Ultrasound for Musculoskeletal Morphology in Healthy Adults,”.
Lily brings her background as a collegiate middle-distance runner and her passion for research to support the performance, health, and development of UT’s student-athletes both on and off the track.
