Jessica Forrester Named SSC Runner of the Week

ORLANDO, Fla. - After winning the UT Early Bird Classic on Friday, University of Tampa runner Jessica Forrester has been named the Sunshine State Conference Female Runner of the Week.

The junior from Brandon, finished first of 84 runners at the UT Early Bird Classic, turning in a time of 18:01. Forrester led a surge of Spartan runners who crossed the finish line with four of the five best times to claim victory in the 11-team field. Her time also represented a career high.
