UTampa to Face Ferris State in Quarterfinal Matchup
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The University of Tampa advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals, which is set to be held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, after winning the NCAA South Regional at the Bob Martinez Center.
Other teams advancing to the tournament are Concordia-St. Paul, Point Loma, MSU Denver, Wingate, Point Loma, Gannon, and Ferris State.
Tampa earned the top seed after reseeding and will face the eighth seed, Ferris State. The quarterfinals are set to take place on Thursday, December 11. The semifinals will be on Friday, December 12, at 8:00 p.m. EST., and the national championship will be played on Saturday, December 13, at 6:00 p.m. EST. All matches will take place on Heritage Court at the Sanford Pentagon.

The Spartans match versus eighth-seeded Ferris State will be played at 8:00 p.m. EST. If the UTampa advances, the program will face the winner of MSU Denver and Wingate at 5:00 p.m. Tampa has not faced any of the seven teams remaining this season.
