Tampa Remains Atop NCAA II Poll
LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Tampa volleyball team continues its reign as the nation's top team, ranking first in the latest CSTV/AVCA Division II Coaches top-25 Poll. The Spartans received 29 of the 36 first-place votes to edge Cal State San Bernardino (3) and Minnesota-Duluth (4) as UT has now been the top-ranked team for six consecutive weeks.
UT has now been represented in the national top-25 for 157 straight weeks. This marks the nation's second longest current streak as Central Missouri State holds the current honors. The defending national champions have also been ranked as the nation's top team for a total of 18 weeks in program history, including seven in the 2007 season.
