TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's tennis team competed toe‑to‑toe with Sunshine State Conference rival and No. 8 Florida Southern on Tuesday afternoon but ultimately dropped a 6–1 decision at the Naimoli & Young Family Tennis Complex. The Spartans earned wins in both doubles and singles play, yet the Mocs captured key three‑set matches to pull away in the longtime rivalry.
