Caroline Foltz Earns SSC Swimmer of the Week Honors
TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa women's swimmer Caroline Foltz was recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week. The award was announced on Monday and is sponsored by Pollo Campero.
Foltz delivered an outstanding performance against Minnesota, highlighted by setting a new pool record in the 200-yard breaststroke with a winning time and new season-best of 2:14.64 (NCAA DII B Cut). As it stands, her time is currently the No. 5 time in Division 2. She continued her dominant showing by claiming additional victories in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03.30 and the 200-yard individual medley with a new season-best time of 2:03.75 (NCAA DII B Cut).
Sunshine State Conference Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of December 29 - January 4, 2025. Athletic Communication Directors of member institutions nominate athletes.
