Kendall Bourdon Named SSC Player of the Week
ORLANDO, Fla. - University of Tampa women's soccer player Kendall Bourdon has been named the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week. This marks the second time this season that Bourdon has captured the weekly award.
The freshman goalkeeper from Virginia Beach, Va., notched three SSC wins in goal, with two of them coming in road contests. In 270 minutes, she allowed just one goal to help secure a trio of one-goal victories for the Spartans. Facing a combined 13 shots on goal, Bourdon made 12 saves, including seven in a 1-0 shutout at Barry. She tallied four saves in another 1-0 shutout versus Nova Southeastern and made a save in a 2-1 win at No. 20 Lynn. Bourdon concluded the week with a 0.33 GAA.
