Final Four Set for SSC Tourney
TAMPA, Fla. - The 14th-ranked University of Tampa women's soccer team is set to host the annual Sunshine State Conference tournament, which now includes four teams. The tournament, which will feature Tampa, Saint Leo, Nova Southeastern and Rollins, will begin on Friday and conclude Sunday.
Following a pair of 1-0 victories in the quarterfinals Tuesday night, Nova Southeastern and Rollins edged Lynn and Florida Southern to join the Spartans in Lions in Tampa. Tampa and Saint Leo, which are the top two teams, each received a first round bye.
Tickets may be purchased at the gate for $8 (adults), $5 (students age 13 through college and senior citizens). All children under 12 will be admitted free.
The University of Tampa will offer Live Stats for each game through its website, www.tampaspartans.com.
