Avila Named Conference Player of the Week for Third Time This Season

TAMPA, Fla. - Isabella Avila earns Defensive Player of the Week for the third consecutive week.

Avila had two strong defensive outings for the Spartans during their 1-1 week, opening with nine draw controls and four caused turnovers in a 13-11 loss to Saint Leo. She bounced back by setting a program record with seven caused turnovers in a 23-2 win over Palm Beach Atlantic, adding six draw controls and five ground balls. This marks her third weekly honor of the season.
