Women's Lacrosse Named as an Academic Honor Squad, Has 11 Student-Athletes Achieve Academic Honor Roll
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The IWLCA honored 588 student-athletes from 83 different institutions on the 2024-25 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
In addition to releasing the Academic Honor Roll, the IWLCA has named 383 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2024-25 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
The University of Tampa women's lacrosse program placed 11 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll. The Spartans have had at least one student-athlete earn this honor since 2014, which was the start of the program. Since 2023, Tampa has had at least 11 student-athletes named to the list. Tampa was also named as one of the IWLCA Academic Squads for the 2024-2025 academic year. This is the 13th time the program has earned this prestigious honor.
