Spartans End Season Atop IWLCA
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The University of Tampa closes out the 2025 season as the nation's No. 1 team in Division II and securing its second straight national championship with a 15-9 victory over Adelphi.
Adelphi claims the No. 2 spot after an impressive postseason run, reaching the NCAA finals for the second consecutive year.
Florida Southern finishes at No. 3, capping a strong season with a 18-3 overall record.
UIndy takes the No. 4 ranking after making its second Final Four appearance in program history.
West Chester rounds out the Top 5.
In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
Today's poll marks the final rankings of the 2025 season.
