Tampa Wraps Up Play at FSC Invitational

LAKELAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's golf team placed 16th overall at the Lady Moc Golf Classic, which was hosted by fellow Sunshine State Conference opponent Florida Southern at Grasslands Country Club.

The Spartans finished the three-round event with a 998 (+134). UT had rounds of 339, 334 and 325. Lynn University won the team title with an 886, topping Nova Southeastern and Rollins by two and four strokes respectively.

Fatin Amin shot a 78 in both the second and third rounds to lead all Spartans with a 244 (+28). In her first tournament of the spring, Amin finished 63rd overall. Also golfing for UT were Brittany Bradshaw (245), Grace Marie Schian (248), Jenee Vanderstyne (265), Grace Ziamandanis (265) and Allison Nill (282).

The Spartans be back in action on March 3-4 at the Rollins Invitational. The event will be played at Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Park, Fla.
