Team Efforts Lands Tampa in Top Three at Warner Invitational
SEBRING, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's golf team played to a third place finish at the Third Annual Warner Invitational, which consisted of two rounds at Sun and Lake Golf Club.
Tampa shots rounds of 363 and 351 to finish at 714 (+138). Bellevue University won with a 678. UT's top round was a 351 on Tuesday.
Kendra Bishop found a spot in the top five with a 166 and top round of 81 on Tuesday. UT's top golfer was at +22 when play ended.
Also golfing for the Spartans were Brittany Bradshaw (176), Fatin Amin (177), Corrine Camp (195) and Margaret Rich (222).
Tampa returns to action on March 22-24 at the Cincinnati Invitational. The tournament will be played at the Plantation Inn and Resort in Crystal River, Fla.
