Gwen McGinnis Named First-Team All-Region as Cam Feast, Kinnah Kreidler Also Honored

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Three University of Tampa softball student-athletes earned 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II All-South Region recognition, highlighted by senior pitcher Gwen McGinnis receiving First-Team honors while Cam Feast and Kinnah Kreidler each collected Second-Team accolades.

McGinnis continued her dominant senior campaign by earning NFCA First-Team All-South Region honors after posting a 24-5 record with a 1.02 ERA across 35 appearances in the circle. The Tallahassee, Fla., native recorded 179.0 innings pitched with 145 strikeouts while limiting opponents to a .195 batting average. McGinnis also tossed 20 complete games and 11 shutouts while helping guide the Spartans to a 34-13 overall record and NCAA South Regional appearance.

Feast, a junior outfielder from Fort Myers, Fla., collected NFCA Second-Team All-South Region recognition after leading the Spartans offensively throughout the 2026 season. Feast paced Tampa with a .407 batting average while totaling 46 hits, including seven doubles and three triples, with 22 RBI and a .485 on-base percentage. Defensively, Feast was flawless in the outfield, posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 41 putouts and two assists without committing an error.

Kreidler, a junior catcher from New Port Richey, Fla., earned NFCA Second-Team All-South Region honors following another standout season behind the plate for the Spartans. Kreidler started all 47 games and batted .282 with eight doubles, four home runs, and 28 RBI while drawing 30 walks and posting a .416 on-base percentage. Defensively, Kreidler registered a .992 fielding percentage with 237 putouts and 23 assists while serving as one of the anchors of Tampa's defense.
