The Tampa Spartans Softball team swept Rollins this past weekend and will host Florida Tech for a 3-game series this week.

SSC Teams with National Rankings: #2 Tampa, #13 Saint Leo

Tampa

• The Spartans swept Rollins on the road this past weekend for the first time since 2018. They outscored the Tars 25-6 and have now won six straight against Rollins. Tampa remains at the top of the SSC standings with a 12-1 conference record and a 24-2 overall record. The Spartans rank in the top 3 of the NFCA Top 25 coaches poll for the sixth straight week at the #2 seed. Tampa will take on Florida Tech this weekend at home.

Florida Tech

• The Panthers have been playing .500 softball lately; however, they swept Eckerd this past weekend in Melbourne. FIT is 10-11 in conference play, 20-19 overall, and is in the 5 spot of the SSC standings. They look to keep their winning streak alive as they travel to Tampa this week.
