Mariah Galhouse Secures SSC Pitcher of the Week Honors

MELBOURNE, Fla. - University of Tampa softball standout Mariah Galhouse was tabbed as the Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week, as announced Monday by the league office.

Galhouse wins Pitcher of the Week accolades following a complete game shutout of Barry in Miami Shores. The Spring Hill, Florida native allowed four hits and no walks in the contest. She struck out seven batters as Tampa held on to a 1-0 victory.

Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of April 5-11, 2021. Athletes are nominated by Athletic Communication Directors of member institutions.
