Deanna Henriott Continues To Pile Up SSC Awards

ORLANDO, Fla. - For the third consecutive week, the Sunshine State Conference has awarded University of Tampa softball player Deanna Henriott as its Pitcher of the Week, which was announced Monday.

Henriott, a junior from St. Petersburg, Fla., picked up three complete-game wins, including a shutout. In 21.0 innings, she allowed two earned runs on 10 hits and eight walks. She struck out 34. Henriott threw double-figure strikeouts in two wins, including 13 in a 7-2 victory over No. 22 Flagler and 12 in a 6-1 win versus West Florida. Her shutout came in a 6-0 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic, as she allowed just three hits and two walks while fanning nine. She posted a 0.67 ERA for the week.
