Ashley Arcuri Named SSC Player of the Week

ORLANDO, Fla. - Ashley Arcuri was named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 27 following a 5-10 performance in a series win against #1 Barry.

Arcuri, a junior from Tampa, played a key role as the Spartans notched an impressive SSC series victory at No. 1 Barry. Arcuri hit safely in each game, including a 3-4 effort in the series finale in which she scored both Spartan runs. In a 2-1 win in game two, she went 1-for-3 and drove in both Tampa runs. She concluded the weekend with a .500 slugging percentage, a .500 OBP, and a 1.000 fielding percentage.
