WINTER PARK, Fla. - The University of Tampa softball team saw its 2007 season come to an end with a 2-1 loss in an eight inning affair with Rollins College. The Spartans, who were 19-31 in 2006, conclude the season at 29-20 and 14-10 in SSC play. The Tars improve to 37-14 and 12-9 in league play.
Kelly Glover led the Spartans, going 3-4 while Sam Becker and Jessica Tejas each recorded two hits. Devlin Dougherty suffered the loss, surrendering seven hits and two runs, one earned with five walks and seven strikeouts.
