UT Women’s Cross Country Moves Up A Spot In National Rankings
NEW ORLEANS - The University of Tampa women's cross country team has moved up one spot from its preseason showing as it comes in No. 9 in the USTFCCCA Division II rankings. The Spartan women are also ranked first in the South Region as its men are third.
Through three races, the Spartan women have championed the Early Bird Classic and the Florida Tech Invitational, while placing fifth among elite competition at the Florida Invite. After winning the Early Bird Classic, the men placed second at FIT and eighth at UF.
UT returns to action on Fri., Oct. 1 at the Lehigh (Pa.) Invitational.
