Jessie Bardin And Alex Hetland Named Bluegrass Mountain Conference Swimmers of the Year

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - University of Tampa swimmers Jessie Bardin and Alex Hetland were honored as the top swimmers by the Bluegrass Mountain Conference, with Bardin being named the BMC Female Swimmer of the Year while Hetland was the Male Swimmer of the Year.

The duo helped the Spartans to a pair of top finishes as the UT women won the 15-team event as the men finished second among 14 squads in February's championships. Hetland also captured a pair of NCAA national championships (200 IM, 100 Breast) while Bardin won the national title in the 200 Free.
