FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Tampa's season comes to an end after falling just short to Adelphi OT, in a close battle at the NCAA Championship.
How It Happened

Tampa capitalized first after Rafe Bradshaw scored an unassisted goal in the opening minute.

Adelphi responded with back-to-back goals, taking an early 2-1 lead midway through the first quarter.

Bradshaw would strike again to tie it up at 2-2, but the Panthers would score to have a 3-2 advantage going into the second quarter.

Tommy Ortega evened the score early in the second before Tampa took a 4-3 lead off a goal from Rex Kesselring.

The two teams traded goals as the period wore on, with Ortega metting his second goal to send the Spartans into halftime ahead, 5-4.

In the third quarter, Adelphi scored quickly to make it 5-5, but Tampa regained momentum with goals from Grant Green and Davis Lindsey, going up 7-5.

Adelphi stormed back with three straight goals taking an 8-7 lead into the final quarter
- Tampa equalized at 8-8 in the fourth with Lindsey's second goal of the game.

In overtime, Adelphi buried the golden goal with 2:41 left in the period, securing a 9-8 victory.

- Lindsey netted a pair, including the crucial game-tying goal in the fourth quarter.
