Men's Lacrosse Set for Morgan’s Message Game Against Sailfish
TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's lacrosse team returns home for a midweek matchup and will host its annual Morgan's Message game, continuing to raise awareness for mental health in athletics.
The Matchup: No. 1 University of Tampa (13-0, 4-0 SSC) vs. Palm Beach Atlantic (3-5, 0-4 SSC)

Series History: Tampa has dominated the series since the schools first met in 2018. The Spartans have scored over 20 goals in four of the six matchups and have held Palm Beach Atlantic to fewer than 10 goals in five contests. The average goal differential in the series is over 15 goals in favor of Tampa.
About the Spartans: The University of Tampa continues to sit atop the USILA national rankings as the No. 1 team in the country. Through four Sunshine State Conference matchups, the Spartans have allowed double-digit goals just once, while averaging over 17 goals per game offensively. In last week's wins over No. 13 Saint Leo and Lynn, Tampa was led by Davis Lindsey, who tallied six goals and two assists. Goalkeeper Connor Theriault recorded 20 saves across the two contests with a .606 save percentage. The duo earned SSC Player of the Week honors—Lindsey's third of the season and Theriault's fifth.
About the Sailfish: After opening the season 3-0, Palm Beach Atlantic has dropped five of its last seven games, including all of its Sunshine State Conference matchups so far. Midfielder Curtis Goddard currently leads the SSC in goals per game (2.63), narrowly ahead of Tampa's Ryan Kemp (2.62) and Jackson Bashaw (2.15). Additionally, Keegan Southard ranks fifth in the SSC in points per game, contributing 1.13 assists (6th) and 1.75 goals (13th) per contest.
