Jonty Marshall Receives Second SSC Golfer of the Week Honor

MElBOURNE, Fla. - The University of Tampa's Jonty Marshall has been recgonized as the Sunshine State Conference Golfer of the Week. 

Marshall is named Golfer of the Week for the second time in 2022-23 following his performance at the 2023 Southeastern Collegiate at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia. The Swede tied for third in a field of 90 golfers with a 5-under, 212, following rounds of 71-71-69. Marshall bested 16 and tied two Top-100 NCAA Division II golfers at this year's event. With Marshall's play, the Spartans tied for fourth in a field of 18 teams.

Sunshine State Conference Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of March 13 - 19, 2023. Athletic Communication Directors of member institutions nominate athletes.
