Kris Shane Named SSC Golfer of the Week

ORLANDO, Fla. - University of Tampa standout golfer Kris Shane has been tabbed the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week following his performance last week at the Titan Winter Invitational.

Shane, a freshman from Ruskin, Fla., had a solid showing in his first collegiate event, finishing tied for fourth at the Brevard CC Titan Winter Invitational. Shane carded a three-round score of 219 (72-73-74) to lead the Spartans to a fifth place finish in the 13-team field.
