Tampa Men’s Basketball Makes Return to NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - For the first time since 2002, The University of Tampa men's basketball team has earned an invitation to the NCAA II Tournament. The Spartans will meeting Harding University in the opening round.

The games will be played in Lakeland, on the campus of host Florida Southern College. The South Regional is scheduled to begin on Saturday, though the times have yet to be announced.

The 20-8 Spartans will meet the 18-14 Bison. Though the teams have not met this season, they share a common opponent in Valdosta State University. Each team registered a victory over VSU.
