B.J. Bailey, Robert Satin Named NCBWA All-Americans
TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa pitchers B.J. Bailey and Robert Satin have earned 2026 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II All-America honors in the midst of standout seasons for the Spartans.
Bailey was selected to the NCBWA Division II All-America First Team, while Satin garnered second-team recognition. Tampa was one of just a handful of programs nationally to place multiple pitchers on the All-America teams as the Spartans continue their postseason run with a 44-8 overall record.
Bailey, a graduate left-hander from Woodruff, South Carolina, earned first-team honors after emerging as one of the nation's top starting pitchers during the 2026 campaign. Bailey compiled a 13-0 record with a 1.96 ERA across 96.1 innings while totaling 94 strikeouts and limiting opponents to a .208 batting average. The lefty helped lead Tampa to the NCAA South 2 Regional championship and a berth in the NCAA Super Regional round.
Satin, a junior left-hander from Tampa, Florida, was named to the second team after posting an 11-2 record with a 2.21 ERA in 97.2 innings pitched. Satin struck out 105 batters while holding opposing hitters to a .234 average and has been a key contributor in the Spartans' postseason rotation.
