The Spartans will welcome No. 3 Rollins College, No. 6 University of West Alabama, and No. 7 Trevecca Nazarene University. Beginning Thursday, there will be two games per day on the opening day, Friday and Saturday. There could also be one game on Sunday, in the double-elimination format.

Tampa earned the automatic bid as the champions of the Sunshine State Conference, a feat it has achieved in six straight seasons, and the program now owns 25 SSC championships. The Spartans, who have won an NCAA-record 10 national championships, have advanced as the South Region champions 21 times.

This marks the 26th consecutive NCAA postseason appearance for Tampa, which has advanced to win seven of the program's 10 national championships, each occurring since 2006. Overall, Tampa has now been selected to 40 NCAA tournaments, including one in each of current head coach Joe Urso's 26 seasons.

Games will begin at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. each day, starting with Tampa vs. Trevecca Nazarene, with Rollins and West Alabama meeting in Thursday's late game.

The 2026 NCAA DII baseball championship bracket was revealed in a live selection show on Sunday, May 10, at 10:00 p.m. ET on NCAA.com. The 56-team field will feature 21 automatic qualifiers and 35 at-large bids.

The Super Regionals will follow from Thursday, May 21, to Saturday, May 23. The NCAA Division II Championship Series is scheduled for Friday, May 29, to Saturday, June 6, at the US National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. The eight Regional winners will play in the championship series, where a double-elimination format sets up the final best-of-three series to crown a national champion.
