Robert Satin Selected as Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week

TAMPA, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference has announced its weekly awards, tabbing University of Tampa baseball player Robert Satin as its Pitcher of the Week.

Representing his hometown of Tampa, Satin improved to 2-0 on the season after tossing five scoreless innings with 12 strikeouts against South Region opponent University of Montevallo. He set a new school record with eight consecutive strikeouts to begin the game and allowed just one hit while issuing no walks.

Sunshine State Conference Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of February 2 - 8, 2026. Athletic Communication Directors of member institutions nominate athletes.
