David Lebron Picks Up Second SSC Pitcher of the Week Honor

MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference announced its baseball Pitcher of the Week winner for March 6-12, David Lebron, where he received his second SSC honor as a Spartan.

Lebron is named Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season after earning a win in Tampa's 12-1 victory over Saint Leo. The Homestead, Florida native tossed 7.0 innings and allowed one run (unearned) on seven hits. Lebron held the 32 batters he faced to a .226 batting average and struck out 13 while walking just one during the win. Tampa improves to 16-4 overall and are 5-1 in SSC play.
