Anthony Perez Named Rawlings/ABCA First Team All-American

TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa pitcher Anthony Perez has been honored as a first-team All-American by Rawlings and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

The sophomore from Miami led the Spartans with 17 saves while recording a 2.79 ERA. He also compiled a 4-2 record while striking out 60 batters in 51.2 innings.

This marks the first All-American selection for Perez. It is also the fourth consecutive year that UT has placed a player of the first team.
