GULF SHORES, Ala. – The University of Tampa beach volleyball team split its final day of competition in Gulf Shores on Sunday, falling in a tightly contested 3–2 battle to Texas A&M Kingsville before bouncing back with a 3–0 sweep of Saint Leo at Gulf Shores Public Beach.

How It Happened – Match 1 (Texas A&M Kingsville 3, Tampa 2)
Tampa opened the day in a back-and-forth dual that came down to the final flight.
At the No. 1 position, Nevaeh Wolfe and Hailey Wolfe continued their strong play with a straight-set 21-19, 21-17 victory to give the Spartans an early point.
After Texas A&M Kingsville responded with wins at No. 2 and No. 3—including a tightly contested three-set battle at the No. 3 flight—Tampa evened the match at 2-2 behind Anna Bayes and Lauren Duke, who delivered a 21-19, 21-17 win at No. 4.
The dual was decided at No. 5, where Sammie Ostrander and Jordan Berglin forced a third set but ultimately fell 15-13 in the deciding frame, as Texas A&M Kingsville secured the 3–2 victory.

The Spartans responded with a dominant performance in their final dual of the weekend, sweeping Saint Leo in straight sets.
