Tampa Beach Volleyball Set to Face Four Ranked Opponents

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Tampa set for the Florida Atlantic Beach Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15, in Pompano Beach, Florida.

About Tampa: The Spartans are on a three-match win streak after defeating PBA twice and Eckerd once last weekend. Hailey Wolfe and Nevaeh Wolfe won the SSC Pair of the Week. 

About USC: The Trojans are 14-2 and are on a 10-match winning streak. USC holds the No. 3 ranking in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll. The program's only two losses came back-to-back against UCLA and Texas. 

About TCU: TCU is No. 6 in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll and is riding a 10-match win streak. TCU has had a strong start to the season after dropping its opener to Arizona State, winning 10 straight, including two road victories over top-15 teams (No. 13 Grand Canyon and No. 6 Florida State).

About FSU: The Seminoles are 11-1 and rank No. 7 in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll. The program's lone loss came against TCU.

About FAU: The Owls are coming off a 3-1 weekend at the Chanticleer Challenge. The Owls earned wins over Tulane, 3-2, Coastal Carolina, 4-1, and Georgia State, 4-1, but fell against No. 4 Cal Poly, 5-0. FAU enters this weekend's Beach Invitational at 10-2 overall and 2-0 in CUSA play and ranks No. 13 in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll.
