In her role, she works closely with team physicians to coordinate diagnostic imaging, appointments, and physicals, while documenting treatments and injury reports through the Medicat EMR system. Prior to returning to Tampa, she served as a Clinical Athletic Trainer and Lead Athletic Trainer at the Orthopaedic Medical Group of Tampa Bay, working directly under Dr. Scott Goldsmith, CEO and Total Joint Replacement Surgeon. There, she evaluated over 100 patients weekly, provided pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, assisted in clinical procedures, and taught Total Joint Replacement education classes. She also gained extensive outreach experience through BayCare Health System, providing medical coverage for Seminole High School’s 20-plus athletic teams and implementing injury prevention and rehabilitation programs. A 2020 graduate of the University of Tampa, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Exercise Science and Sports Studies, maintaining a 3.63 GPA while competing as an NCAA Division II softball student-athlete. During her undergraduate career, she received both the Dean’s Scholarship and an athletic scholarship, while serving in multiple leadership roles including Secretary of the Athletic Training Student Organization, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Representative, and SEATA Student Ambassador. Her certifications include NATA, ATAF, SEATA membership, CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, Emergency Medical Response Certification, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, and NASM-CPT.
