ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The No. 25 University of Tampa women's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a second-place finish as it was just one shot behind team champion Barry University.

OTHER NOTABLES:

  • The 293 is a new school record, which was achieved in both rounds at the Flagler Fall Slam.
  • Riihijarvi was the top Spartan golfer for the third time this fall.
  • The reigning Sunshine State Conference Golfer of the Week, Riihijarvi posted rounds of 71 and 73 respectively. Her first round score was also a team-best.
  • Freshman Kipniss shot rounds of 74 and 72.
  • Wild posted a 73 in Tuesday's round.
  • Tampa did not register any individuals.
  • A total of 18 teams competed.
  • Joining UT and team champion Barry from the SSC were Embry-Riddle (12th) and Eckerd (16th).

With the fall season complete, Tampa will turn its focus to the spring season, which begins February 3 at the Flagler World Invitational.
