2009 NCAA Division II Cross Country South RegionalMen’s & Women’s Cross Country South Regional Championships Meet Information Host: University of Tampa, Tampa, FL (10 min. north of the airport) Date: November 7, 2009 Time: 8:00 AM – Men’s 10,000 Meters Site: Sydney Dover Trails – Dover, Fla. Entries: Entry rosters will be due on October 13, 2009 Declarations: Final Declarations must be completed by noon on Friday, November 6th Coaches Meeting: The meeting will be held at the host hotel Courtyard Marriott (10152 Palm River Road Tampa, FL 33619. (813) 661-9559 on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. Trainers / Medical: The University of Tampa athletic training room will be available Fri., Nov. 6 from 2–5 p.m. UT trainers will be available at the course on race day. Course Description: Spectator friendly, fast surface, one major hill in woods approximately 150 to 200 meters long, three loops for the men’s 10K, two loops for the women’s 6K. Start and finish close. Maps are available at the bottom of page. Directions to Course: Coming from hotels: Head east on Highway 60, seven miles; once you pass Dover Road Light, at the bottom of the hill ½ the park entrance will be on the left. Awards: Will be presented at the finish line area tent. The top 15 individuals in each race by the (USTFCCCA). Top two teams in each race. National Qualifying: Men top three and women top two teams will advance to nationals. The top two individuals from non-qualifying team and all individuals in the top five overall will also advance.
