Gil has been with the University of Tampa Athletics Department since 1989. He built the Athletic Marketing program from scratch in 2005. Gil’s first promotions staff consisted of just six members and, over the years, the staff has expanded to fifty members. The Athletic Marketing program has been recognized as a NACMA Bronze Award winner, received two NCAA awards, and most recently was presented the University of Tampa Leadership Award for most spirited club on campus.

  • Lucas is the Western Regional Director of the Florida Federation of College Republicans and is the former president of the University of Tampa College Republicans.  Lucas also interns in the Event Management Department at the University of South Florida Athletics Department.

  • Fun Fact: Lucas preformed in Color Guard in high school and is able to play violin, viola, and sing.  Lucas is so good at displaying our spirit flag that everyone else is too intimidated to do it. People in the crowd have even said, “Man, that guy is good at waving the flag.”

Summer is my favorite season, although I miss autumn weather frequently. I’ve been to seven different countries and aspire to travel a lot when I’m older.
