Spartan Crew Finishes The New Race
March 29, 2008LAKE MAITLAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa rowers finished competition at The New Race, which was hosted by Rollins College. West Virginia University also competed in the event.
Tampa registered a victory in the Novice 4 as it defeated WVU by 26.9.
The Spartans finished fourth in the Varsity Eight with a time of 8:03.7. UT also placed third in the Varsity 4 after turning in a 8:33 time.
UT returns to action on Saturday, April 5, as it travels to Melbourne for the Sunshine State Conference Championships.
