Sean Bierman Named First-Team All-American by Jewish Sports Review

LOS ANGELES – University of Tampa baseball player Sean Bierman was honored by the Jewish Sports Review as a first-team All-American in its college baseball team, which consisted of players from NCAA Division II and III and the NAIA ranks.

Bierman was one of 18 players and seven pitchers on the team, and was listed as the number-one starter by the publication.

Currently in the Tampa Bay Rays system, the left-handed pitcher from Kinnelon, N.J., was 8-3 with a 2.27 ERA while leading UT to a Sunshine State Conference title and a 38-10 overall record. He was also named the SSC and Daktronics South Region Pitcher of the Year.
