Spartans Finish Competition At Dad Vail

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Tampa crew team was among the competitors at the Dad Vail Regatta, which is the nation’s largest intercollegiate rowing event. The Spartans competed in the women’s lightweight four.

In the lightweight four race, UT finished 12th out of 17 boats with a time of 6:11.797. UMass won the race, followed by Pitt and Duquesne, while Tampa was followed by Georgia Tech, Marquette and Lehigh.

The Tampa team included Theresa Osborne, Alicia Thompson, Caitlin Guthrie, Alyssa Rodriguez and Samantha Burns (coxswain).
